Buckingham Fun Run 10Km

This annual event is an important date in the Buckingham and district calendar and will follow an established route.

Organised by Buckingham Ladies Circle and Buckingham Table, the event is designed to get people of all ages involved by having a number of different classes over a 10 Km course. The traditional route begins in Buckingham town centre at 10am, then leaves the town via Stowe Avenue before entering the picturesque Stowe school and National Trust land. The finish line is back in Buckingham town centre where every runner will receive a certificate and medal celebrating their achievement.

Many runners will be getting sponsorship for their favourite charity.

Marshals and water stations will be dotted around the course, which will be properly marked for runners and to warn traffic.

Participants will congregate in the Market Square in the centre of Buckingham before the event commences. The route is then mostly on pavements or well paved tracks, before finishing back at Market Square.

To enter the Buckingham Fun Run please print out an application form and post it with your entry fee to the address on the bottom of the form. If you intend to obtain sponsorship then please print out a sponsorship form. Remember this years nominated charity is to be confirmed, but please feel free to collect for the charity of your choice.

Runners with dogs are welcome, but please ensure they are kept on short leads at all times. Unfortunately for safety reasons bicycles will not be permitted.
